Story
Set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time, "Brave" features Merida, an aspiring archer and impetuous daughter of royalty. Merida makes a reckless choice that unleashes unintended peril and forces her to spring into action to set things right.

Brave has received mostly positive reviews from film critics. In North America, it opened on June 22, 2012 with an estimated $24.5 million.It finished its opening weekend with $66.7 million.This was the fourth-largest weekend in June and the fifth-largest for a Pixar film.
