Yesterday was Paramount’s turn to show off its upcoming slate of films at the Las Vegas CinemaCon, while today brings Universal and Warner Bros. The Universal gang were first up, and announced a release date for Fast & Furious 7 plus sequels for Pitch Perfect, Snow White And The Huntsman and, more nebulously, the Bourne movie universe.Given its franchise success, the Fast & Furious series was, somewhat naturally, the focus up front, with Vin Diesel and some of his co-stars on stage to announce that the next film, for now simply called Fast & Furious 7, is set for July 11, 2014. As was previously announced, James Wan is taking over the director’s driving seat for the seventh movie, which Diesel described as “probably the biggest one of all.”
